You like being part of a diverse, collaborative team of designers and engineers. You enjoy the intricate work of building hydrologic and hydraulic models to represent current and future conditions in a watershed. You take an efficient and rigorous approach to design and are not afraid to ask questions. You enjoy working in a team environment where you can delegate work effectively whilst providing guidance and expertise.
Binnie is looking for a Intermediate Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Resources Division. Our team works closely with other departments at Binnie. This includes our Transportation Design Group working on large infrastructure projects across BC and our Development & Infrastructure Group working on municipal works and private developments. We are looking for a dedicated engineering professional who wants to help design and build critical drainage infrastructure across the Province and believes in incorporating resiliency and sustainability into their designs to help mitigate the impacts of climate change.
From our Burnaby office near scenic Deer Lake, you will work with our Water Resources team and technical specialists from other firms to provide the design and analysis of natural watercourses, drainage systems and storm water management on transportation projects.
There are opportunities to work remotely from our offices in Prince George, Squamish, Surrey, Kamloops and Calgary, Alberta.
This challenging role offers great development opportunities.
